Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the services provided by CCTV Hub Edmonton ("Company," "we," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Services

We provide commercial security system design, installation, monitoring, and maintenance services including CCTV systems, access control, alarm systems, and related technologies. Service specifications, timelines, and pricing are detailed in individual service agreements and proposals.

3. Quotations & Pricing

All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise specified. Prices are subject to change based on site conditions discovered during installation. Any additional work outside the original scope will be communicated and approved before proceeding.

4. Payment Terms

Payment terms are specified in individual service agreements. Typically, a deposit is required upon signing, with remaining payments due upon project milestones or completion. Late payments may be subject to interest charges at a rate of 1.5% per month.

5. Warranty

We provide a standard 5-year warranty on installation labor and workmanship. Equipment warranties are provided by the respective manufacturers and typically range from 3–5 years. Warranty coverage does not extend to damage caused by misuse, neglect, unauthorized modifications, or acts of nature.

6. Limitation of Liability

While we strive to provide reliable security systems, we cannot guarantee the prevention of all security incidents. Our liability is limited to the cost of the services provided. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

7. Monitoring Services

Monitoring services are provided on a subscription basis and require a separate monitoring agreement. We will respond to alarm events in accordance with the procedures outlined in the monitoring agreement. Monitoring services are dependent on reliable communication pathways which may be subject to interruption.

8. Intellectual Property

All designs, proposals, documentation, and custom configurations created by us remain our intellectual property until full payment is received. Upon full payment, the client receives a non-exclusive license to use the installed systems as intended.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Edmonton, Alberta.
